Gerry Austgarden is a founder of the Gold Seal Financial Group and has almost three decades of experience in the investment industry. He thrives on research and being one of the first people in the office in the morning to dig deep into the data that’s constantly changing. This in-depth reading and market analysis make Gerry well-versed in market trends and where investment opportunities can be found. Gerry has built dynamic portfolio models with strategies rooted in knowledge customized for individual and corporate clients and contributes this expertise to the Gold Seal Financial Group.
Gerry loves sports, especially wheelchair curling, and was a Paralympic gold medalist in the 2006 Winter Games. He also volunteers at the Kelowna Curling Club. He was the Director of Volunteers for the World Mixed Curling Championships in October 2018 and before this, he served on the Board of Directors from 2006 – 2012. When Gerry isn’t on the ice, he enjoys reading and spending time with his wife Doreen and daughter, Zoe-Ann.
