Investment Advisor
Adam Bighill took the lessons he learned on the football field—as a two-time Grey Cup-winning linebacker with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers—and ran with them to the world of wealth management. “To make it as a professional athlete,” Adam says, “you need an uncommon amount of work ethic.” It’s that hustle mentality that has made him an asset in the field of finance.
Years ago, Adam received poor investment advice—and it motivated him to help others as a financial advisor. In 2019, he was licensed by the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and became a practicing investment advisor. He particularly enjoys the discovery process that happens with new clients: getting to know them, understanding their lives, their specific needs and their financial goals. He learned early on that every client is unique, and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. With that in mind, Adam focuses on building a relationship that’s centered around holistic wealth planning and preservation, always keeping clients’ best interests in mind and tailoring the plan as needed.
He believes that all new ventures start with trust, and he builds that trust through educating his clients. “I know my clients have worked hard for the money they have, and it means everything to me, to be able to show them how hard I’ll work for them, and their money.” With expertise in financial planning, insurance, estate planning and ultra-high-net-worth solutions, Adam is also happy to provide complimentary portfolio reviews for prospective clients seeking a second opinion.
Adam may be a linebacker on the football field, but when it comes to financial planning, expect a financial quarterback in the form of a trustworthy, community-focused thought leader.
