Lindsay Thoreson joined Wellington-Altus Private Wealth in the fall of 2022, bringing five years of experience in the accounting and tax industry. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina (2016) and her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2020. Most recently, Lindsay completed her Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and is a Registered Representative. She is our block trader and undertakes a number of other important tasks such as ensuring that operations behind the scenes are taking place, helping clients with different tax scenarios, and financial planning for clients. Lindsay plans to continue her studies and aspires to achieve her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation next.
Lindsay values being involved within her community and sits as Board Treasurer of a local daycare, helps to coach U7 hockey during the fall and winter, and was recently appointed by the Ministry of Advanced Education to sit on the Great Plains College Board of Governors.
Lindsay loves spending time with family and friends; especially at the rink in the winter and golf course in the summer with her husband Kyle and their two children Jack and Lou.
